Samyak–Collective Good Foundation has signed a five-year MoU with the State Transformation Commission (STC), Government of Uttar Pradesh, to develop and demonstrate innovative, evidence-based solutions that improve access to healthcare, social protection and welfare services for urban informal workers, migrant labourers and other underserved communities.
Building on extensive field assessments of Labour Addas in Lucknow, the partnership will pilot an integrated model comprising Integrated Labour Welfare Centres, Labour Adda Health Points and Mobile Medical Units to bring essential services closer to workers where they live and work.
Over the next five years, the collaboration aims to generate practical evidence that can inform stronger urban health and labour welfare systems across Uttar Pradesh.
We are grateful to the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the State Transformation Commission for their partnership and shared commitment to improving the lives of some of the state’s most vulnerable workers.
